Mission and Goals
The
TFMS Music Booster Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of individual members that believe music is
important to the development and education of our children. This organization provides enthusiastic support for the Director of Music and the music programs that allow TFMS music students to explore, develop and
enhance their musical education.
You may support the TFMS Music Booster Association by:

Providing funding for new instruments, music, uniforms, equipment, festival fees, clinician fees, scholarships and other necessary costs of a high-performing program.

Volunteering your time as a chaperone or helping with logistics for the many events during the year.

Encouraging your student to take lessons, practice and participate in the variety of music events.
Legal Entity
The TFMS Music Booster Association is a WA Non-Profit Corporation, and has Federal 501(c)3 status. The PTSA organization at Twin Falls Middle School and the Music Boosters work together to support TFMS.
Membership & Meetings

Anyone with a student in music at TFMS or is a community member who believes music education is important is a member of the TFMS Music Boosters.

There are no dues and/or fees for members of the organization.

General membership meetings are held on Tuesday evenings during the school year. (See Calendar)

Quorum: 5 members including at least 2 officers

The Board will be comprised of 4 members + Program Director (Meets monthly prior to General Meeting)

Meetings will abide by Roberts Rules of Order

Bylaws, Article 5, Section 7 – No member or visitor shall discuss the teaching methods of the program director during a general meeting. Nor shall they discuss their children’s or other student’s academic or behavioral performance in the music ensembles. For such discussion, the concerned party shall arrange a private meeting with the program director.
